Spaces dedicated to innovation and new technologies

Foundry Powered by IFA Paris is Paris’ first fashion technology innovation lab. Dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry, Foundry is driving the shift to solve complex industry problems shaping the future of fashion. The space includes a fully equipped makerspace, event demo space and fixed/roaming co-working desks for our Fashion Startup Incubator Program participants.
You will have the opportunity to be truly experimental with fashion technology, whether it be wearable electronics, advanced rapid prototyping or software. Our sponsors help us to bring the program to life through generous donations of hardware, software and expertise that you’ll get to experience throughout your studies. Students, startups and industry collaborators will come together in this unique space, meaning that you will be part of a flourishing ecosystem, pushing you to think about the future of fashion. Our mission is to pioneer fashion technology as a discipline in Paris and beyond.

Foundry is split into three sections:

  • A fully serviced co-working space for startups and entrepreneurs to create their vision for the future. The co-working space is able to house up to 30 permanent individuals, in addition to flexible roamers.
  • A state-of-the-art makerspace to help Foundry users to make their practical solutions. This space is mainly sponsored by our partners, ranging from 3D printers, laser cutters and 3D body scanners to name a few.
  • A demo space in partnership with IBM to really showcase what are the possibilities of fashion technology within the fashion industry. The Demo Space is where fashion tech masterclasses, events and startup demo days will be held.
