The international fashion school IFA Paris made its mark on the world of fashion once again this year, taking part in an event organized by the media outlet "Airs de Paris".
Three talented Bachelor Fashion Sustainability students from the school created a revolutionary fashion collection using bamboo fiber fabrics supplied by the Bamboo Federation. The collection was previewed at the "Première Vision" trade show on July 5, 2023, winning the admiration and enthusiasm of industry professionals. Comprising four unique looks, it demonstrated the extraordinary potential of eco-friendly materials in the fashion world, combining elegance and sustainability to capture the attention of fashion players worldwide.
But the impact was not limited to this first presentation. IFA Paris also played a central role in the "Shenzhen in Paris: New Opportunities France-China" event, held at the Pullman Paris La Défense on September 25, 2023. Jean Baptiste, CEO of IFA Paris, transported these creations to the event where he shared his vision his vision for the fashion industry's future and highlighted IFA Paris' proactive stance in anticipating changes, especially in terms of sustainability. Under his direction, the collection was once again unveiled in an international context. The event explored emerging perspectives between France and China in the post-Covid-19 world, with a strong focus on sustainable development and eco-fashion.
The "Shenzhen to Paris" event provided an exceptional opportunity to discuss post-pandemic Sino-French relations, bringing together high-ranking personalities including Zhou Mingwu, Deputy Director General of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Wang Zhengchao, Director of the Service Trade Division of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce. These experts discussed new economic and commercial opportunities between France and China, with sustainable development and the environmental impact of industries at the heart of the discussions. Shenzhen, one of China's true economic engines, showcased its innovations in eco-friendly fashion, underlining the growing importance of sustainable fashion.
Designers from around the world, such as Imane Ayissi and Ricardo Miguel Dávila Cherres, as well as school alumni Giovanni Zochetta (Bachelor Fashion Design), and Eugenia Adjetey (Master of Arts Contemporary Fashion Design), helped promote ethical and eco-responsible fashion, highlighting the central role of this trend in the industry.
IFA Paris, as a leader in promoting sustainable fashion, encouraged its students to explore the ethical and environmental aspects of the fashion industry. The students' creations illustrated that fashion can serve as a platform for crucial messages about sustainability and social responsibility. Since 2019, IFA Paris has integrated ecological fashion and sustainable development into its programs, highlighting its commitment to a vision of fashion that is ethical, environmentally friendly, and accessible to a wide audience. Students used their creativity to express their commitment to reducing the fashion industry's environmental impact.
