OUTTAWRLD & IFA Paris Collab: Revolutionizing Fashion with Augmented Reality

In recent years, technology has become an integral part of every aspect of daily life. Digital technology has also transformed various professional sectors, such as fashion. These new technological tools have changed the way we work and express ourselves through fashion. With this in mind, OUTTAWRLD and IFA Paris have collaborated on an innovative project, with the aim of combining fashion and augmented reality.

With this in mind, OUTTAWRLD and IFA Paris have collaborated on an innovative project, with the aim of combining fashion and augmented reality.

OUTTAWRLD has developed an application that enables users to create, wear and share their style using augmented reality. This concept opens up new possibilities for fashion enthusiasts. The idea is to bridge the gap between imagination and reality. Thanks to augmented reality, users can visualize and style virtual garments, offering unprecedented personalization and creativity. Digital fashion has limitless creative potential. As designers are no longer subject to the technical constraints of physical fashion, they can freely express their art. It's also a more sustainable way of thinking about fashion, as virtual creations require no physical materials.

IFA Paris' second year Bachelor Fashion Marketing & Management students were able to get involved in an innovative digital fashion project. These students followed a two-stage path. They conducted in-depth market research to understand the opportunities and challenges associated with this concept. Then, they presented their ideas and recommendations. This was a real opportunity for our students to collaborate with startups and participate in the development of technological innovations applied to the fashion industry. This experience enabled them to think differently about marketing strategies and analyze how fashion companies can take advantage of these innovations. As the use of augmented reality in fashion is still very recent, the analysis of targets and potential customers is therefore more complex. Our bachelor students had to redouble their efforts to make attractive and accessible a concept still little known to the public.

The collaboration between OUTTAWRLD and IFA Paris underlines the importance of involving students in projects of this scale. They were able to immerse themselves in the world of digital fashion and AR technology. Students gain invaluable knowledge and experience that prepares them for the ever-changing fashion industry.
