The artistic stage of Miami witnessed an extraordinary event as the IFA Paris fashion school took center stage during the Miami Art Week. An exciting and activity-filled journey has left an indelible mark, showcasing the exceptional talent of the students and the profound connection between fashion and art.

On December 4th, the school was joined by the Miami Ad School, specifically Professor Jorge Parra and his students, for a day of fitting designs on models and a professional photoshoot of the looks and masks. This fruitful collaboration laid the foundation for the dazzling week ahead.

On December 6th, the Aqua Art art fair, the host of IFA Paris events, had to temporarily close its doors due to an impressive 45-minute queue at the entrance. The excitement was palpable as the audience eagerly awaited the VIP preview. On this day, the masks created by the artist Jase King, showcased at the event, along with the designs of IFA Paris students, even caught the attention of Miami Fox News, shining a media spotlight on the creativity of IFA Paris.

Each runway show was a sold-out spectacle, attracting up to 300 people. The carefully chosen themes, enchanting music, and captivating choreography elicited intense emotions among the spectators. The students' creations were elegantly displayed, accompanied by Jase King's masks, demonstrating a profound artistic maturity.

During Miami Art Week, where other fashion and design schools also presented their events, IFA Paris stood out as the only one to organize three runway shows. This unique feat once again confirms the intrinsic link between fashion and art.

Delphine Durieux, coordinator of fashion design programs and co-producer of the runway shows, attests: "The shows were filled with a beautiful energy, with wonderful comments about our students' designs."

Isabella Di Giacomo, an alumni of the school who presented her creations, shared her thoughts on the event: "IFA Paris has given me an opportunity to grow and show my work as an artist and designer and watching how successfully the fittings, rehearsals and then the final shows went made me so proud. The opportunity I also got to work in Jase King’s gallery was something I had never done but would definitely do again. I was really able to connect with the people who came in that were interested in the work and also gave me a chance to generate interest and buzz about the three shows we were doing."

The glowing testimonials from spectators highlight the impressive creativity of the students as well as the depth and maturity of the messages conveyed through their creations. IFA Paris has shone as a rising star on the artistic stage, proving that fashion goes beyond clothing; it is a form of artistic expression that transcends boundaries. The Miami Art Week was an opportunity for IFA Paris to leave its indelible mark on the global artistic landscape.
