Clariano
Clara Cipriano
Postgraduate Degree Fashion House Creative Direction 5
This collection aims to integrate the designer's Sardinian origins by creating "sculptural garments".
CHOICE OF COLORS AND MATERIALS
For the colors of her collection, Clara chose black, ecru and white. The latter recalls the color of Sardinian goat's wool.
In terms of materials, Clara opted for the pibiones technique: a link between past and present, between tradition and innovation. The pibiones technique is achieved by using a bar with a large wool weft rolled around it. This creates a very compact loop. The result is a very heavy fabric.
INSPIRATIONS
She then drew inspiration for her designs from the Nuraghic civilization. The Nuragic civilization is a people of shepherds and farmers who lived in Sardinia for 8 centuries. They used innovative techniques and materials. In particular, they were inspired by circular constructions made of rough stone, without cement, placed in the center of the village.
POSITIONING
This brand, created by Clara, is avant-garde and intellectual. Loving to divert fashion codes, transform, reinterpret and reconstruct classic wardrobe pieces. She pays attention to the use of materials and the redefinition of silhouettes. The brand is aimed at the fashion-conscious who want to experience fashion on an individual level. The aim is to question, to make men more curious and to allow them to experiment with a garment.
