IFA stands for International Fashion Academy.

IFA Paris is a unique fashion school that bases its teaching on 4 pillars:

The IFA Paris faculty is made up of experts in their fields and active practitioners in their specialties. To enable students to achieve the best results, IFA Paris' teaching staff caters to the individual needs of each student. In addition to sharing their vast experience and teaching students the required theory and technical skills, our lecturers also impart invaluable personal traits: enthusiasm, passion and confidence.

IFA Paris is a private institution of higher education. As such, it is not attached to the French Ministry of Education in the same way as a university or grande école. However, IFA Paris is registered with the Académie de Paris as a private academic entity.

IFA Paris is a private institution of higher education, so its diplomas are not recognized by the French Ministry of Education. However, all our fashion training courses deliver RNCP-registered Level 6 and 7 Professional Certifications.

RNCP-registered certifications are issued by the Commission Nationale de la Certification Professionnelle (CNCP). The level of certification is determined by the ability of a school (private or public) to deliver a diploma that will enable its graduates to access a specific industrial sector for which they have specialized through their academic programs.

Students who successfully complete a full Bachelor's program will receive 180 ECTS (3 years of 60 ECTS each). Students completing an Expert Cycle program will receive a further 120 ECTS.

This depends on the program you choose, and the exact dates will be communicated to you once you have registered and the school year is approaching.

All IFA Paris programs are taught entirely in French or in English.

During your fashion studies at IFA Paris, you will be assessed :

• Individually, through continuous assessment in the form of files and assignments
• Oral group presentations and project presentations

IFA Paris delivers Level 6 (Bac +3/4) and Level 7 (Bac +5) professional certifications registered with the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles.
